40R SubDistrict B Amendment to NGTVOD

The Chapter 40R Application to the Commonwealth’s Department of Housing and Community Development, now the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, proposes a Smart Growth Overlay District zoning bylaw amendment to the North Grafton Transit Village Overlay District (NGTVOD) and a proposed zoning map.  The proposition is to allow for the construction of up to 233 units of multi-family mixed income rental housing in two buildings located near the North Grafton MBTA Station, with accompanying parking on Map 5, Lot 2 and portion of Map 5, Lot 11. The lot contains approximately 10.73 acres with access at 5 Millenium Drive.  

The Application of the Town, prepared with the assistance of The Claremont Companies, 2 Lakeshore Center, 4th Floor, Bridgewater MA, to establish a new Sub-District B in the pre-existing North Grafton Transit Village Overlay District (“NGTVOD”), will be the subject of the public hearing of the Grafton Select Board, to be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Grafton Municipal Center.
